Learning and Teaching in Brisbane Catholic Education

Articulated in our Vision for Learning and Teaching is our commitment to achieving the two goals of the Alice Springs Declaration (Education Council, 2019) which requires partnership between communities, families and carers, and young Australians.

As a Catholic Christian community, we strive to educate everyone to live the gospel of Jesus Christ, becoming successful, creative, confident, active, and informed learners who are empowered to shape and enrich our world.

Below is the Brisbane Catholic Education Learning and teaching Framework and the BCE Model of Pedagogy that informs all that we do at St Pius Catholic School.
